We, Jonny and Kumari, are the owners and along with our 2 children Anneha and Ffion, live next door.

Jonny and I started skiing soon after we met and have been hooked ever since. After lots of skiing holidays we decided to work a winter season running a chalet for a ski company.We really enjoyed it and so did another season the year after, and it was then that we fell in love with the Tarentaise Valley.We decided to go back home to England to settle down and start a family, but felt we were always thinking of our "life in the mountains".We then decided to buy an old farmhouse/barn in the beautiful village of le Loissel, and Jonny being a builder started work renovating it the following summer.He lived in a caravan nearby and I carried on working in the UK so we had an income to live. After 2 summers of renovating, the chalet and house were finished and we decided to move out here with our 2 children and start up our own business.We have loved every minute so far, and feel its a great place to bring up our girls.

We are totally involved throughout your holiday, from the initial booking through to the cooking of your meal. We feel that an evening in the chalet is like having a dinner party, people arrive as "guests" but leave as "friends".We are proud to say that a lot of our guests return year after year, sometimes some return a couple of times during the same season.

We also take great pleasure in skiing with you and showing you round the mountain, if you would like us too.We show you the best lunch stops, best hot chocolate stops and the best slopes to ski that day, depending on the weather.

Along with the option of being able to ski different areas every day we feel this is a holiday with that added extra and a personal touch. Also, because we don't insist you book a Saturday to Saturday holiday, you can benefit from the cheaper midweek flights, even stay for a long weekend or a 3-4 day midweek break. Whichever you prefer, subject to availability we will endeavour to provide.
