April 1st and its another powder day. We've had snow for the last couple of days and the village is again all white.

We skied Ste Foy today , Villaroger yesterday. Although visibilty today was not brilliant we skied in the trees and had some fabulous POWDER, one of the best days of the season.

The Stratton family have been with us and despite there not been too much sunshine have had good snow. Great to see you all again. Looking forward to seeing The Weetamns, the masons and Nathan and Delphine this weekend. all returning guests.

Tomorrow is due to be bluebird with more snow over the weekend. Once again the Tarentaise Valley lives up to its reputation of being good for late snow.

Here are a couple of pics from today!

We have had fresh snow this week and its set us up again for the end of the season. Everything looks clean and white again and we are still able to ski down right to the bottom in Villaroger. Conditions are once again great and the pistes well covered.

We have had some good days out with the guests. Jonny enjoyed doing a bit of skinning on the pistes with Andy and Gwen who kindly gave them their knowledge for his next project, Mountain Leader Course  in May. Andy was already a ML and Gwen taking her exam in the next few weeks.

Italy has remained quiet on the pistes all season. Not sure why but its been nice to have the runs to ourselves. The new Arpette lift in Arc 1600/1800 has been a favourite of ours this season to access Arc 2000. Its really quick and the run down to it is always in good condition.

My mum and Aunty and Uncle came out last week. My Aunty had her first ski at 69 and managed to do some turns and stop. We visited the ice caves as well in Arc 2000. We had a wet day in Annecy but the sun came out for the last 2 hrs meaning they could see the lake in its full glourious blue.

Anneha had to have a pot on her ankle as she pulled the cartilage in her ankle. Shes not being able to ski for 4 weeks. Today she has been to hospital again and now has a pot on her wrist as she has broken a bone in it. Not skiing I must add but playing and slipped on the ice. This has meant she has missed some races with club.

Fi has been racing though and here is a link to her first Grand Prix in Villaroger click here.

Another few weeks left for us but we are already thinking about the Summer and bookings for the chalet are coming in so please get in touch if you want to come out and stay.

Here are a few pics from the last few weeks.

A friend of ours  Lawrence Clayton took this fabulous picture of Villaroger by night, it looks stunning!!

We have had a  busy few weeks since I last wrote with mixed weather. Blue skies and sun, total whiteouts , then fresh snow, so a real mixed bag.

One visit to Italy proved too windy( the wind does blow in La Rosiere quite often). It was so bad we had to turn back with the girls. We were poling downhill!!!

The Air Bag in Les Arcs and Ste Foy has proved popular, with Harry Little nearly knocking himself out on the first attempt. The photo below is of him in action.

Half Term was busier on the slopes but not too bad. Clive and Joel, Mike and Alex managed to ski 7 different resorts within the week proving there is so much choice when you stay here with us. La Plagne was a great day out, we can get to the Vanoise within an hour of reaching the bottom lift at Villaroger.

Sally and Peter and the Cononley Couples have just left from their annual long weekend. Congratulations again to Michelle for becoming a QC, she heard she had been succcessful during her stay at the chalet. Champagne was definitely flowing that night.

Here are a few pics taken during the last 3 weeks.

Yesterday was a powder day , so we skied Villaroger. Click here to see some footage.
