Archie, Anneha and Harvey overlooking the Valley above Arc 1600. Jonny's sister Diane when she came to visit!

We have skied our last day of the season here in Paradiski as we are going back to the UK tomorrow. Les Arcs 1800 and 2000 are still open until the end of the month, but for us , thats it. We've had more sun in the last couple of days although today it has rained.Just thought i'd put a few more pics on of the season as I won't be updating the diary entry for at least a couple of weeks.
Hope you have all enjoyed our little updates, I will try and keep updating throughout the summer.

Mac, Zoe, Ross,Ian and Co. And  Fran, Marina, Sally and Liz

Well, its nearly the end of the season, infact our last guests have just left and what a great season its been. We have had a lovely time with Jo and Boo, Gonz and Lorraine and the Irish group, who have kept us all entertained. We couldn't have asked for a better end to the season for company and snow, thanks to you all.I have enclosed some photos from the week, Brendan took the wrong route to the village(and hes a pilot)!!!!!

No only joking, this car has been a tourist attraction all season , having been pushed over the edge for a joke!!Brendan, hope you and Eamon managed to get some last skiing in America, Eamon watch out for those dips in a white-out!!
The snow has been so good , we managed to ski powder a couple of times during the week.Unfortunately Gonz lost a ski, but Jonny has promised to look for it in the next few weeks.Gonz you wanted an excuse to buy another pair didn't you?The Mutzig has been flowing and we have been able to sit on the terrace at La Ferme until the sun has gone down. Infact on our terrace at the chalet it was 26 degrees one day.

We have cleaned the Hottub out today and this is one of the last photos taken in it, with Ronan, Emma and Jamie.

Hope Anna got back to Holland safely , we are trying to remember the dutch words you left us, thankyou.
Well done to Harvey(7) and Archie(6) for learning to ski this week, you did fab, and so did your mum and dad for getting you there and perservering!!Cannot wait to see you all again.
Jonny and I skied over to La Plagne yesterday with friends in gorgeous sunshine. The snow was soft by the late afternoon but apart from that really good.We are hoping to ski next week up in Val D'Isere with friends before we head back to the UK to see all our friends and family.
Thankyou once again for everyone who came to see us this season, and look forward to seeing you again next winter.

Happy to Easter to everyone for the end of this week, enjoy your break!!!
We've just finished a great week with Kit, Will, Charl,Jo, Al ,Ben and Chris. We had mixed weather mangaing to ski powder on 4 days out of the 7.Hope you all got home safely and sorry you had to leave early Will and Charlotte. We have apparantly had the most snow this year for over 15yrs. There is still lots about and conditions on and off piste are good. We took this picture the other day going up the lift from Villaroger!

We skied in Ste Foy again yesterday as we have a couple of young boys who have not skied before in at the min. The weather was beautifuland Anneha skied with her friend Marie too. We had lunch in La Maison de Collonne, and Jo had her little vest on it was that warm. The snow got a little soft after lunch low down, but was just right high up after the sun had been on it in the morning. We all came back and the kids went in the hottub and we sat out until 6ish having a beer, and a Panache for you Ben!!!!

Jonny has been putting his skins on his skis and walking up the mountain, in preperation for some ski touring in May.He is also planning to walk the Tour de Mont Blanc in August with our friend Steve who actually ran it last year.
We are looking forward to the end of the season, so we can relax a bit and eat egg and chips, sausage, pizza etc. We also cannot wait to have a curry and fish and chips when we go back to Uk in May. Looking forward to seeing all our family and friends, its been a while since we caught up with a few of them. Ffi is doing well and talking more and more, in both French and English. We will have her on skis next year. Its lovely and sunny again today so just off to sit on the terrace and have a bit of lunch. Will just add this last photo that was taken yesterday!!!Will write again soon.
